Social & Content Manager
Join us in shaping the digital presence of some of Stockholm’s most distinctive cultural and hospitality destinations. We are looking for a Social & Content Manager to build the voice, visibility and community around Miramis, with a primary focus on Cirkus, the launch of Gasometer and selected brand and pre-opening initiatives.
This is a hands-on, social-first role for someone who wants to work close to the experience itself. You will capture the energy of live performances, backstage moments, guest experiences, food, beverage and atmosphere, and turn them into content that feels sharp, relevant and worth sharing.
We are looking for someone who combines editorial judgement with strong content creation skills. You have excellent taste, a strong visual eye and the ability to write copy that is culturally fluent, witty and brand-building. You understand that our digital channels are not static schedule boards, but should be treated as a cultural publication with a distinctive point of view.
About the role
As Social & Content Manager, you will create, curate and publish content that builds brand awareness, grows communities and turns real-life experiences into compelling digital storytelling.
You will be part of the Brand & Marketing team, fully integrated into existing design, distribution and content workflows. The role requires strong editorial thinking, a PR mindset and the ability to protect and develop our visual and tonal standards across channels.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will own and develop the day-to-day social media presence across relevant channels, with a primary focus on Cirkus and building momentum for the Gasometer launch. You will create, curate and publish content that captures the energy of our venues and experiences, while building engaged communities.
You will work close to the live experience itself: concerts, performances, behind-the-scenes moments, guest experiences, food, beverage and atmosphere. A key part of the role is to turn these moments into content that feels sharp, relevant, visually strong and worth sharing.
Among other things, you will:
Own and manage day-to-day social media presence across relevant channels
Create and publish high-quality social-first content, including short-form video, photography, stories and captions
Capture live entertainment, music, behind-the-scenes moments and guest experiences before, during and after events
Build storytelling around Cirkus, Gasometer and Miramis
Cover Miramis corporate channels and the pre-opening campaign for Hasselbacken
Develop content calendars and coordinate launches, campaigns, ticket releases and event moments
Curate content across social, newsletter and website touchpoints with strong editorial judgement
Write sharp, witty and culturally fluent copy in English and Swedish
Protect visual and editorial standards across channels
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a strong background in social media, content creation, editorial content or digital publishing, ideally from an environment where culture, entertainment, hospitality or lifestyle are central.
You are not only a social media specialist. You think like an editor, move like a content creator and understand how digital content can build brand, community and attention. You know what good looks like, and you have the confidence to protect standards when visuals, copy or assets do not meet the level required.
You have most likely worked with social media, content, digital publishing, community management, brand communication, digital PR or editorial storytelling. Experience from live entertainment, music, arenas, festivals, cultural programming, premium hospitality, restaurants, luxury lifestyle or destination marketing is highly relevant.
We would like you to have:
Approximately 5-7+ years of relevant experience within social media, content creation, editorial content, digital publishing, community management, brand communication or digital PR
Experience of creating content for brands, venues, events, cultural experiences, hospitality or lifestyle environments
Strong ability within social media strategy and channel management
Hands-on experience of content creation and live event coverage
Strong skills in photography, videography and editing
Experience of editorial planning and curation
Exceptional English and Swedish copywriting skills
A strong understanding of storytelling, tone of voice and brand communication
Excellent visual judgement and the ability to protect asset quality
Experience of community engagement and organic audience growth
A PR-minded approach to content, trends and moments that can travel beyond owned channels
A strong understanding of digital channels and how to optimise content for different platforms
Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, Lightroom and Photoshop, CapCut or similar mobile editing tools, Figma, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, scheduling tools, newsletter platforms, CRM or CMS systems and AI-assisted content production tools is valuable.
On a personal level, you are editorial and taste-driven. You have a clear sense of what deserves attention and what feels premium, current and brand-right. You are culturally fluent and have a finger on the pulse across entertainment, music, hospitality, digital culture and audience behaviour.
You are hands-on and fast-moving, comfortable filming, photographing, editing, writing, publishing and engaging directly. You are also social and collaborative, able to build relationships with guests, artists, performers, promoters, partners and colleagues.
You thrive in environments where the pace is high, where evenings and weekends are sometimes part of the rhythm, and where live moments need to be captured as they happen. You combine speed with judgement, creativity with structure and strong opinions with a collaborative mindset.
Why this role matters
Miramis is in an exciting phase of development. With Cirkus as an established cultural venue, Gasometer ahead as a major new launch and Hasselbacken entering a new chapter, we have an opportunity to build a stronger and more distinctive digital presence across our brands.
As Social & Content Manager, you will play an important role in shaping how our experiences are discovered, understood and remembered. You will help move our communication away from informational venue posting and towards cultural storytelling with a clear editorial voice, strong visual identity and high creative standard.
This role matters because our digital presence should reflect the quality, atmosphere and energy of the experiences we create. Done well, it will build stronger communities, increase relevance, support ticket sales, strengthen brand awareness and make Miramis, Cirkus and Gasometer more inspiring to follow.
About the position
This is a full-time, permanent position with an initial six-month probationary period. You will be part of the Brand & Marketing team and report to the Brand & Marketing Director. The role is based in Stockholm.
We would like you to start as soon as possible and will agree the start date together with you. The role includes flexible working hours, as evenings, weekends and live events are a natural part of the position.
Application
The closing date for applications is 10 November. We review applications on an ongoing basis and may fill the position before the closing date.
We would like your application to include:
Your CV
Portfolio or showreel
Examples of social content
Examples of English and Swedish editorial copywriting
We would also like you to include a motivational statement describing what attracts you to this specific role. This replaces the traditional cover letter. You can either add the text directly to your CV or attach it under “Cover letter”.
In the recruitment process, we will place particular emphasis on creative quality, production value, editorial judgement, copywriting ability, taste and aesthetic fit, as well as your understanding of live entertainment, hospitality and cultural audiences.
We believe that every place, every guest and every colleague brings something unique. We welcome different perspectives, backgrounds and experiences, and believe that diverse teams help us create richer, more relevant and more meaningful experiences.
We look forward to receiving your application!
About Miramis
Miramis is a group with hotels, restaurants and venues in Italy and Sweden. What we build is about experiences and meetings. We believe joy can arise in many different contexts: at a rock concert, during an evening walk, over a memorable dinner or in an unexpected encounter in a small fishing village.
We grow by listening, to our guests and our colleagues, and by understanding the history and heritage of each place. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions. Every place, every guest and every day is unique.
Today, Miramis owns five properties along the coast of southern Tuscany and owns or operates a further four in Stockholm. What unites them is their connection to place. Every project carries a social and cultural heritage that we build upon, with creative energy, contemporary design, local engagement and a sustainable approach to hospitality.
For us, sustainability is a given and something we work on actively at every level. In 2022, together with our friends at Djurgården, we received the prestigious Green Destination Award from the organisation Green Destinations. This recognised the successful sustainability work carried out at Djurgården in areas including the environment and climate, culture and tradition, social sustainability and hospitality. We see this fine award as both a confirmation of our efforts and an inspiration to continue this important work going forward.
